Vintage Greenback ID Help Please
I am looking at picking up a pair of greenbacks with the codes
GJ22x T1221 They actually have black backs, but they are G12Ms. Any idea what these are and how much they are worth, assuming no voice coil rub etc.. |

July 1976. Assuming no issues, 16Ω, 75hZ, probably around $250-$450 depending on how bad you need them.

Thanks very much. So I assume that 76 is beyond the really good years? And $250-$450 is for the pair?

74 was the end of the Pulsonic cones (102 003, 102/3), so those are most likely 1777 cones. Many like them, although prices are more like $125-175 each, if they have original/no issues cones.

$250-$450 for the pair ($125-$225 each). If you don't need them right now, then $250 is a decent price. If you are trying to match to another pair to make a perfect quad, then there some people will pay extra for that.

Thanks again. He's asking $300, but if they are essentially the same as the new chinese ones, I don't know if it's worth it. I don't mind the new chinese ones to be honest, but why pay more?
