Van Zandt Vintage Plus or Blues Strat pups?

I'm gettin a set of these for an SRV sound. V+ are around 6.2-6.3k and Blues are around 6.8-6.9k I think.

Which combo would sound better for this application?

V+ neck, V+ middle, Blues bridge
V+ neck, Blues middle, Blues bridge
Blues neck, middle and bridge

Strat is currently set up with 10s right now, would be willing to try 11s.. I'm thinking 11s would help make the thinner V+s sound thicker for a better SRV sound

Would a higher output pup like blues pups be too dark and lose that distinct stratty sound

i use the true vintage with a vintage + in the bridge. sorry if that throws you for a loop. i was told that if your heavy handed the output doesnt have to be very hot. but the v + in the bridge makes up for string vibration lost near the bridge. just a thought. im incredibly happy with my decision to go with my setup. but im a dbII with SRV coming in second. hope that helps a little.

See the thing is I'm heavy handed, but I use really low action so it sounds quieter than normal strats. Which kinda makes mean wanna lean towards a hotter pickup to compensate for the low action and 10s.

I looked at some youtube demos of the V+s and Blues. I found the V+ bridge to be too thin and twangy, kinda country/teleish.

bump, anyone else?
I'm pretty sure the true vintage would not sound big enough for SRV unless I put on at least some 11s?

I have the blues in the neck and middle with a Fralin over wound in the bridge and wound with 10 gauge strings...guitar sounds sick for SRV tones! Remember...SRV didnt really use Texas Specials, he used vintage output pickups under 6K but used 12 or 13 strings and was very heavy handed. I setup a guitar for a friend like that once and could barely play the thing.
