I want to make a little amp out of a 60's stereo console..help!?

Hello everyone,
This lady living on my floor gave me her old stereo console. The phono section doesn't work but it's all tube driven and has these 2 cool old full range speakers. Unfortunetly, I'm being forced to get rid of it but I want to make something out of it, even though I don't know much about this stuff.

Does anyone know of any sites that perhaps explains how to make something basic out of this?

Since the speakers are pretty small (5-6 inches) I'm thinking i want to make a little tube amp with just one of them. Something that is just pure cheesey-ish, garagey, fuzzy distortion would be perfectt.

The phono section of the circuit doesn't work, or the turntable mechanically doesn't function, or the phono cartridge is shot?

The turntable works but the phono stage does not work. i know because I put in a different turntable that was working perfectly and it lit up but no sound came out. On my normal stereo the turntable works fine.

Are there tubes in it already? If so, a fast conversion is pretty easy if you can give us a tube layout of what you have.

Sorry, missed the pics. There are a few options. One would be to tweak what you have into a more interesting guitar amp, or the other is a complete tear down and rebuild. Option two would sound better overall, but would be a lot more work. Option one would include first getting the amp working, then adjusting the overall gain to be more aggressive than what it is, and lastly adjusting the controls so they are more usable for a guitar amp. Without a schematic it would be tough to say exactly what all to change, but it could be done with some work.
