Just a Wah...

If you were using Gibson > Marshall or Boogie in a loud band mix
And you were just using one pedal, a wah, which wah pedal
would you choose?
(Think: Cream/Zeppelin/Whatever...)
Looking for best dynamics; low noise.

Fulltone standard Clyde. Some people don't like the extended sweep but if you play with your ear then it's close to perfect {well, it's not perfect but it's a great wah}. I think it would do your rig well because, like the old wah's, can be brighter and not as heavy in the bass or mids as the modern ones. It's more transparent. However, if you like a heavier sounds and want more mids then there's better wah's out there. The Fulltone is quiet but you gotta keep it away from your power supply - all wah's s are like this, but I find Fuller's wah quieter than his competitors.

I too would prefer a Fulltone Clyde, or a Clyde deluxe, fantastic wah for me.

A vintage Jen Cry Baby - or Vox. Still think they sound better than anything made in the last 20 years.
