anyone use Eventide pedals as Dual Mono?
my mind has been running amok trying to plan my next pedalboard and trying to maximize my use of it.
delay at the beginning? delay at the end? delay into modulation or modulation into delay. too many options and I want them all. Since I'll be getting a bypass Loop strip it's dawned on me that I might be able to use my eventide pedals as dual mono putting them in two places in the strip. the Left side of the stereo pedal at the beginning of the effect chain, and the Right side at the end of the chain. here's a rough sketch: ![]() I current have a Timefactor and a Modfactor and am excited to put both on my board in this fashion. so my question goes, can the eventide pedals be used as Dual Mono without channel crosstalk (with the L & R independent of each other)? |

I have run my TimeFactor in a dual mono configuration, using the stereo outs from the ModFactor to feed each channel. I would set one delay to around 375ms, and the other one to 390ms or so. Having the two delays off just a little bit like that made for a HUGE sound. I never experienced any issues with crosstalk.

Yes, you can. But I've met one problem on some delays, the modulation ones especially. Even if you set the rate and speed modulation at 0, you'll still hear some modulation going on either channel A or B, even if the feeedback on one of this channel is set at 0. I asked a while ago on the Eventide forum if they could do something for me in a next update (no modulation when feedback is set at 0) but they didn't find any use to that...
