Got a few for Christmas. Have an iPhone, ipod, and an iPad and in general my music collection is all digital.

Need some recommendations!

^^seconded. Also the Amazing Slow Downer app is pricey, but an extremely useful tool for practice and learning on guitar.

Doodle Jump is addictive and fun
I really enjoy Texting of the Bread which is a homage to typing of the dead on the dreamcast, only with little gingerbread men... OF DOOM

Todd Woolsey Band (self-titled)

Here's a review from Vintage Guitar:

Todd Woolsey
Todd Woolsey
T Wool Z Music

It takes chutzpah just to describe one's style as "if you were to mix a pinch of Eric Johnson, Pete Anderson, Larry Carlton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Robben Ford, and Brent Mason in a bowl, then stir in my own techniques and my love of '80's and Classic Rock," but this Canadian-born Tennessean(who also cites Neal Schon, Warren DeMartini, Mike Stern, and Albert Lee as influences) lives up to the claim.

Here, the Carlton/Ford axis is most evident on the opener, "Jones Patrol", and again on "Slinky", while "Tip Of The Hat" is an obvious reference to Stevie Ray Vaughan - in this case, SRV's own debt to Lonnie Mack.

Though Woolsey has earned his living backing country artists such as Tanya Tucker, Tracy Lawrence, and Billy Dean, the over-riding groove on this baker's dozen of instrumental originals is blues-rock, with jazz and country added here and there for seasoning.

Accompanying him on the ride are a tight, bass/drums/keyboards trio whose collective resume includes such names as Sting, Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, Melissa Etheridge, LeAnne Rimes, Jerry Reed, and Dicky Betts.

The hard-rock side of Woolsey's personality comes to the fore on "Spank", a bombastic blast, followed by the lyrical, country-tinged "Retrospective". The Ford influence rears its head again on the tempo-shifting blues "3 For the Price Of 1", but with some two-handed taps and multi-string bends thrown in, just to keep you on your toes. Eric Johnson's influence is felt most strongly on "Above The Clouds".

Strutting your stuff in an all-instrumental setting without stamping it "For Guitar Players Only" is a tough trick, but Woolsey's balance of chops and musicality pulls it off nicely.

(Review by Dan Forte.) (October 09' Vintage Guitar)

I like iTalk. It's $2. It records in high quality, and you can download a program on your computer to wireless-ly copy over your high quality mp3s to your computer. This is awesome for when you stumble across something cool on guitar, and want to record it right away. Not having to hook up the Ipod to the pc to sync it, or email it to yourself, is worth it. The clarity is surprisingly great, even compared to other recording programs on the same Ipod.

My recommendation is to get the Martin Sexton album, 'Live Wide Open'. Incredible songwriting, guitar playing, and singing. Here's a few of the tracks on it:
