Being scammed right now on Facebook from someone who hacked my sister's account

They are hitting me up over instant messaging. They claim they are my sister, that she is in London, was robbed at gunpoint and needs cash to get home.

I've filled out the hacked accounts profile at Facebook. Any other thoughts on what to do? They gave me a physical address where they want the money sent.

This happened to a friend of mine a couple months ago. Sounds like the same exact scam.... not sure if the address is the same, but it was also London based.

Wouldn't being mugged at gunpoint in London be rare? Knifepoint, yes.

The English is a bit off too.. Unless your sister has taken on that Nigerian Internet accent.

Kinda makes you wonder how easy it is for them to pick up cash at this Western Union location without your sister's ID.

Usually a simple password change stops the problem.

As far as reporting the hacker... that's tough...
