Opinions on Scumback 10" Ceramic speakers?
I'm looking to load my vintage closed back Vox Berkeley cab with a pair of 10's. I'm running my tube Berkeley head through it, which runs 2-EL84's and has a bright, chimey sound...sort of a cross between a BFPR and a JMI Vox AC-10.
I want a speaker that has shows off the excellent clean sound, but also sounds sweet and compresses on the top end a bit when turned up. The Thomas Organ amps can get shrill up top! I've tried just about all of Jim's 12" speakers, and have settled on the M-75 as my favorite, which is kind of weird because i prefer older G12H-30's to G12M-75's. To further confuse matters, I used to have a quad of the old, large magnet 10" Celestion speakers that i loved. They had great definition and balance, but were nice and warm at the same time. Logic dictates that i would like Jim's 10" equivalent, but logic also said that i would like his H-75 model best, and i don't! It's the M-75's for me. Help me to help mice elf! What are your experiences with Scumback ceramic 10's?

At Jim's suggestion, I bought one of his SA75H 30watt. Ceramic 10's for my PRRI, and it's very nice in that application. More low end, and the fender chime is still there, and she sounds a lot better when running OD's into her. The PRRI is now a lot more "gig" worthy, as it's louder now.
