Wish I could be there. I'm jealous. Scores dont really matter in a friendly. I just want to see the USA look sharp against such a great team. And I want to see some Messi Magic. The guy is easily the best player in the world imo. They have already sold over 60k tickets.

Yes it will be televised. I believe ESPN and also the spanish network. Look up the channels but I'm pretty sure it will be televised.

This is a warmup for them for the Copa America which I believe will be in Argentina in a couple of months. So they will bring many of their big guns and also a few that the coaches are looking at in order to finalize their Copa America roster.

For the most part it will be a lot of their main guns. Some unfortunately will be missing due to injury : Higuain, Tevez, Walter Samuel.

Should be there: Messi, DiMaria, Pastore, Zenetti, Cambiaso and other big guns.

Expected for the US are : Donovan, Dempsey, Altidore, Howard, Onyewu and other starters.

Game is sold out, over 60K will be at the stadium. Meadowlands have sent out Traffic Advisory emails letting everyone know to arrive early and to carpool as much as possible due to the turnout.

Messi is definately there and playing. He was hanging out with Thierry Henry in New York yesterday. ESPN2 at 7 eastern time.

Also, if this isnt a big enough friendly, they just announced the champs from Spain will be coming to play us in Foxborough in June. How cool is that?

Argentina 3 USA 1, if messi can bring his Barca form anyway....If not, who knows???

Anyone know if Charlie Davies is fit yet? The US striker guy that got in a car wreck before world cup '10? That dude has some pace, and would be killer up front w/ Donovan.

Not fit, but still getting there. There was an actually a great article on his determination on ESPN last week.

I hope it was a better game than the Wales England match. It was dire.

Anyway, here`s Messi pictured at home.

Argentina looked like the futbol version of the Harlem Globetrotters in the fist half. An incredible performance. They should have put 3 or 4 in the net. Tim Howard gave us life and I'm proud of the USA for showing the guts to come back and tie it up.

Excellent second half and solid work by the young guys Aguedelo and Chandler. They lived up to the hype (for one night anyway)

We (USA) were very fortunate tonite. Argentina was magical in the first half. Reminded me of past Argentine teams. Great stuff.

I froze in the stadium, and it took forever to get over the GW bridge but it was well worth it. An amazing opportunity to see Argentina play....US Team didn't look half bad either.

It was nice to see them go for it in the second half. They were scared in the first half, and scared gets you nothing but a loss.
