Fuel my Gustavsson GAS!

I am seriously considering making a commitment to a seriously great instrument.

I've looked at a few luthiers, but JG's fusion of LP and Tele is really intriguing to me.
I'm thinking of a Bluesmaster with a trem, but haven't settled on pups yet, maybe HB's or P90's.

I know a few guys have JG's so anyone want to chime in?

Waiting for mine.....it's getting longer but as they say patience is a virtue .

You might want to consider this for the trem.

I have tried 4 or 5 diffrent JG guitars alla amazing instruments. i have tried 3 dififfrent Bluesmaster 59, all amazing and as close to a vintage LP you will ever need to, a bit more clarity and bite in the JG which is great in my book, if you just touch the tone you will get 100% LP sound. The level of craftmanship is amazing, together with mmy Ruokangas the JG is the guitar i have tried which leavs you amazed of the level of perfection.

My advice GET ONE

I've played a couple of Matte's 7-string Jo's - the Bruisemonster (right?) and an LP-inspired design.

They played AMAZINGLY well - really comfortable, and beautiful to boot.

Matte's had many top-of-the-line instruments and has been w/ JG for some time w/ no end in site. Says something...

Indeed, it was Matte's unwavering devotion to his JG that got me interested in the first place.

Thanks for the info guys.
Anyone tried a P-90 equipped JG?

Johan put Tom Holmes pick ups in my custom 59.
I couldn't be more delighted with its rich, complex sound.

I LOVE Mine!

Honestly a GREAT guitar. Mine has stock Duncan pickups but I will put Goodwoods in it this week...The guitar is unreal. Easy to play, clear, light, great construction, tone is fat w/ sustain that you'll smile at. I want one w/ a trem now.

Thanks for the info.
I'm thinking trem too.

Just for reference, how does it differ from your Klein?
