I while ago I found a projector for $10 and sold it on ebay for $300.

My brother is the master at that stuff. He probably makes half of his income from "junking". He goes to thrift stores, spends $50 on "vintage" stuff (mostly lights), then makes tons of profit from selling it. It's pretty amazing.

I have tried digging through the vinyl and stuff there and I can never seem to find anything worth of value. Maybe I'm doing it wrong...

I went to one near my place last year and came out with Back in Black, a few old Led Zeppelin albums, some old Bob Dylan, and a few others, all in perfect shape. Somebody must have emptied out their collection because I found them all in one trip. I spent like $2 total.

1984ish Fender Concert II head and 2 12" Cabinet.

The amp still had the plastic beauty queen sash from its days on a showroom floor.
Could have had the 1984 Am Standard Tele too but was short of funds.

Found an old X-men comic for $1.98 that was worth $1500 in mint condition. This one was in pretty bad shape but still brought $98.00 on Ebay.
