Hows my setup? Anything I NEED?
I think I have a solid board finally rounded out. I play alt-rock/hard rock/prog-ish type stuff. I use:
Planet Waves Tuner Fuzz Factory Phase 90 TS9 w/Booster side (clone) RAT2 Pharaoh Fuzz Carbon Copy V2 in that order, into a Deluxe Reverb with a Strat with coil-tapped humbuckers. Anything glaringly missing? I'm a college kid on a budget (got most of these for roughly 100 each), but I want a rig that can do whatever the hell I feel like writing. I can do modulation with the Phase90, add fat or get ambient wash with the CC, crazy tones (splatty fuzz, atari effects, broken everything sounding fuzz) from the Fuzz Factory, general fuzz from the Pharaoh, and the usual gain/more gain from the TS9 and Rat, with volume control! Phew. I'm considering a boss dd-20 for the tap tempo delay, but honestly? I have a big rig for a kid on a grad student budget! So what say you, TGP. Anything I don't know I'm missing, do I have too much already? Lay it on me!

What about a versatile reverb? I mean I'm sure the spring tank in your Twin is fine, but if you want to perhaps to do more prog stuff, a nice plate or hall may help?

This is the gear page, of course we will say you need something, seems to me like you have the basics covered, plenty of dirt, delay, and a mod pedal, I guess a wah might be in order, but they seem to be falling out of favor. Your amp has reverb and trem.

Anything you NEED? You NEED to not buy pedals just because a forum says you need to when 1. We've never heard your band and 2. You're not unable to achieve a sound that you want to achieve. More time playing, less time typing!

I second your gut reaction for a rap tempo delay.
What kind of music are you making? Maybe a clean boost, or a pedaltrain and/or voodoo labs pp2? Power can be so underrated.

haha, thanks guys. yeah, im aware this will probably end as "you need 8 klons!" just figured id ask, as grabbing a delay opened up a lot of tones I wasnt aware I "needed" to have. have you guys had any analogous experiences? I figure I've got it mostly covered :P
ps, mhuxtable, i like your sound! you guys have a cool chill rock thing going on
