SooooOOo what is the weather doing in your neck of the woods?

It's been a pretty dang hot summer but we got a nice cool break last week. Now the rain has moved in and it was coming down in buckets last night! I have a rain gauge in my wheelbarrow (the one with the new wheel), I'll have to go check it. I bet we got a couple inches at least!

HOw Ya'all Texans doing down thar right quick?

Thursday it missed 100 for the first time in 40 consecutive days. We only had two days to break the record of 1980 but that stopped it. Then, right back up to over 100. This week, everyday is 103-107!!!!

Yesterday, I was in my shop and it was only 110. By 4 o'clock, I was feeling really beat up, like exhausted feeling. Then started to get a bit of a headache. I knew I needed to get out of the heat at that point. Today is "only" going to be 103. Can't wait until the 100's break. Hopefully that will happen before Xmas.

You must live in Oklahoma, too.
Worst summer EVER!
And costly! I've lost several trees, but my uncle had to sell off his entire cattle herd when the ponds all dried up.

Looks like we've left the 90s for the year. Glad to have that behind us bring on the cold.

Had rain, finally, Friday night into Saturday morning for the first time since May 24th.

Had my 36 year old son here for a visit from Florida and it sure was nice to have at least one day under 100 degrees.

Some spots around here had ten inches of rain yesterday... I heard from a lot of friends who were clearing water from their basements yesterday.

Well, I'm thinking the grass is pretty much Ka-Put! They tell you that it just goes dormant, but they lie alot too.

Actually pretty nice here in AZ. Some rain from the monsoon, but not a lot this year. At least at my house.

So far, it has been too cool for tomatoes in the Portland Oregon locale. We haven't seen a 90 degree day since long ago last year; not a lot of rain for a couple of months. I like it!
