Fender head into Orange head

Hey guys, maybe you can help me out. I'm looking to buy a buddy's orange rocker 30. However last year for some reason the owners friend plugged a Fender tube head's speaker out INTO the Orange's input to add some OD (thinking it was similar to an OD pedal maybe? ). Then the Orange output into a 4x12. my question is would this do any harm to the Orange head having that type of signal hitting the input? Still sounds great but i'm curious about it before I buy it. thanks for any help

It could have destroyed a couple of resistors at the input of the Orange but that's about it...obviously it didn't. No real potential for damage beyond the input region.

Thanks Jerry, that's what I was hoping. I may pop the chassis out and take a quick look just cause.

well, <G>, my brother played for 10 years or so through a Blonde Bassman, dime-ed, out of the extension speaker jack (nothing in the regular speaker jack) and into a Showman head to a 2x12 cab to get the tone he wanted and both amps are still working fine (just did a cap job - the first - on the Blonde Bassman last year <G>). I'll probably do the BF Showman sometime next year just in case <BG>.
