This is an old post I know.....

I just wanted to thanks for the parts list, pics, and schematic!

I just finished building one (took about 45 minutes or so) and added one additional feature. Because two 1/4" jacks came in the package, I mounted the second one on the side in parallel with the first. This way, if I am facing the amp jamming I can have the cable plugged into the front jack, and if I'm on stage or standing in front of my amp, the cable comes out of the side.

Thanks again for the great info!!!!

I'm gonna chime in here too and say thanks for the info. I was initially gonna order some higher quality stuff but I was in a hurry and the Shack materials seemed good enough. I had a 1590A enclosure left over from a rehouse project that never happened. Made for a perfect fit on my practice Nano board.

Footswitch built into Pedal Train Mini

Thanks so much for the information and schematics it was really useful. I decided to build in my footswitch to my Pedal Train Mini since I didn't have much space and it sounded like a fun thing to do. It also actually helps make it easier not to press the buttons on the fulldrive because the buttons are then staggered at different heights.

I used bright white LEDS which are a 3V drop, so I didn't use a diode for the channel-select switch and used a 1N4730A 3.9V/1W instead of the 5.1V zener diode for the Fx switch.

hi, I tried this schematic.

Unfortunately, only the Effect On/Off works, the Channel one doesn't.

I have omitted the LEDs. Does it matter?

Could it be any one of the diode having problem (always open/shorted)? I am a newbie on electronics..

I'm good now!

What I did:

I have replaced the 1N4733, that measures similar resistance at either bias, i.e. suspicious of being short.

+ I add back the 2 LED (though my box doesn't have any hole for LED, so they will light in-side the box only). After I've done the soldering, I found I have swapped the order of the LED and diode surrounding the Channel button. But it still works.

I still don't fully understand this schematic though.

THanks for sharing.
