65 Gib GA-45RVT - Reverb tank Connections?

I've got a 65 Gibson GA-45RVT, had it for some 25 years. Still a honking Class A Amp.

But years ago I disconnected the twin wire cable with spade connectors from the Reverb Tank and damned if I can remember where to attach them too (I just never use Reverb). The Reverb Tank also has a second cable with an RCA connector which plugs into the amp chassis, and I have that one connected. It's the twin wire cable with the female spade connectors that I can't figure out where to plug it into.

When I select reverb on the twin button pedal, I get a horrendously loud hum.

I'm selling the amp, so I think it's a good idea to have the Reverb working, huh? Yea.

Thanks guys.

On my GA-35RVT, the spade connectors go to a small terminal strip with lugs on it that is connected to the reverb send transformer, which as I recall sits on the chassis right next to the terminal strip. This is a relatively small transformer. The RCA connector is the reverb return. So, look for a small transformer.

Thumbs up D'oh, a big DUH on me!

I don't know why I didn't think of this before posting, but I finally had a "duh" moment and pulled out my GA-15RVT "Explorer" and looked at how it's Reverb was plugged in. You're right, connects to the small Xfr on the underside of the chassis. The spade connectors are even color coded with red paint from the factor.

D'oh, a big DUH on me!

Thanks for your reply.
