13 Assassins- Excellent Film

I just got finished watching this, the 2010 version by the way, and I must say it was absolutely brilliant. They should use this film to teach a few American film makers that it's still possible to make an epic, grandiose action movie with an engaging plot, interesting characters, and an actual message. And the action, the main battle sequence must be 30-45 minutes long and every second of it is beautifully choreographed, hell the entire film is, and again I can think of more than a few American directors who could do to learn that not every action sequence has to be a shaky, unintelligible mess. I can't think of anything weak with it. the cinematography is excellent, the acting is superb, the film looks beautiful, the story is very good, and as I've said the action is fantastic.

I should probably also say that this is really the first Japanese samurai film I've seen. I'm planning on picking up Seven Samurai soon and I was hoping the wise people of TGP could recommend a few more films for me.
