RIP Ec Roman. Love him hate him, or otherwise he is dead.

I was at park and swap some years ago, and saw this jaw droping quilted blue Strat style guitar with a nice Floyd Rose, and it was gorgeous, played well, and was only $350. It was an Ed Roman Pearlcaster. Yeah Ed was a character, and opinionated about many things. Lots of people hate him, but sadly the friendly non megacorp music shops are GONE> Thanks Guitar Center, Sam Trash, and other big outfits that are the Walmarts of music. Anyway Ed died in his sleep a couple months ago. I have bought some of his kits that were kinda rough, but if you want easy bolt together crap go to mitey mite. If you want a killer neck through, get the unfinished body and star sanding. I also got my mom a Moserite from Ed. It cost a pretty penny, but it is very nice indeed, and has the German carve, Vibramute type tailpiece, etc. It is also one of the USA California models.
