Best Big Bottle Blackface tone only smaller?

I'm looking for a gigging amp to complement my el84's. Thinking nice 6l6 type cleans (twin reverb, bandmaster, etc) but I can't carry or crank 40+ watts w/ 2-12's. List some good smooth Fendery tones in smaller amps.
