I'm not trying to be political, but it's hard with this post because the video is political.

Obviously the band was hosed by their record company and probably mangement...that's not exactly news, but it is wrong. VERY likely they signed contracts that made their outcome an inevitibility. This is where they need to go to court.

Likening their issue to the 99%/1% debate is a red herring IMHO. Hypothetical question: How is raising taxes for the government going to prevent future occurences of artists being ripped off via shady contracts?

Everyone has thier own opinion on the current political debates, but I find these linkages distasteful. That said, I hope the group can renegotiate the terms of their royalty agreements such that they see more of the fruits of their labor.
