Bassman 300 Pro vs. Steel String Singer

Ok, now I'm not posting this to show the difference as I don't have an SSS or an amp derived from one, but I have heard them over youtube, and I have to say that surprisingly my Bassman 300 Pro bass amp does a pretty darn good job of cleans for guitar. The amp is extremely stiff (as it should be), but the built in compressor helps a bit. Also it's distortion tones are NOT nearly as nice sounding, but pedals sound alright through it, and it of course has much more low end on tap than you'd ever need for guitar.

No flames please, I'm not trying to say that this amp is better, or that the SSS is not a good amp because I think it's an amazing amp, which is why I was trying to get that kind of tone. I'm just surprised that my bassman was able to get some similar tones, not that to say that it was something I'd ever use live for unless I just wanted clean.

If I can figure out some way to convert "Photo Booth" movie files from my Mac to something that this site accepts then I can show everyone some clips. Or if I can find some easy to use, and cheap program for audio then I post some stuff.

I know there won't be much to discuss until people actually hear it, but
