uggh. makes me sick to my stomach. i hope they turn up. those arent "everyday" guitars....specially the broadcaster!

Talk to a guy that works with Norm and they put on the TV news broadcast that went out last night. Seems The Ricks were Tom's and the guitars he wrote and performed alot of his early hit's on. So they have a strong sentimental value, but they are just average ricks except not to Tom Petty.
Sure hope they can get these back, history in these guitars. Sad to hear of this, and kudos to Norm for stepping up. I've spoken with Norm a few times and not only is he an encyclopedia on guitars, he is a good dude.

I just don't understand why ANYONE would do this. I don't mean stealing. I understand why people steal. I don't understand why people steal famous stuff. Your ass is grass if anyone ever catches you near one of those.
