Best way to attach an iPhone to my mic stand?

I'm using the t-pain app this weekend and am trying to figure out how to attach my phone near the top of my mic stand. Any suggestions?

Get an Otter Box plastic clip case and strap the case to the stand with Gaffers tape.

Good idea! I have an otterbox. I hadn't thought of that!

Edit: looks like the wife threw them out in the last "clear the clutter" campaign of hers...

Wow. Those little things are kind of expensive to be just tossing out. Here's a tip. Keep her OUT of your music room. lol

That's a shame too because looking at mine it occurs to me that you can press the clip real hard and it will catch on the lip in an open position, making taping it to the stand easy and giving the phone a little upward lean as well.

You might be able to modify a mic stand cup holder.

Google iPhone tripod mounts; you'll find something that works.

It occurs to me that you will have to set your phone so it doesn't fall asleep. You realize how quickly this will eat your battery right?
