Fender Jazzmaster JM66B Upgrades

Hello all,

I decided to upgrade the pickups in my MIJ Fender Jazzmaster JM66B. The stock pickups are too Strat like (which I already have). So, I purchases some Curtis Novak's Jazzmaster pickups.

I figured, while I have the beast opened up and the soldering iron hot, I should also make a few other changes.

I am going to do a treble bleed, but am still undecided on which type and what values to use. Any suggestions?

I am also going to look into the shielding and see if any work needs to be done. The guitar is already quiet, so I don't think anything is wrong.

Any other recommendations?

Cheers
