setting up your tone on your amp to your neck pickup. then using your tone control on the bridge to dial back the excess treble that you inevitably will have on the bridge pickup. makes youre neck pickup much more usable.

learned of a great, cheap mod for the Vox AC4TV, and got good recommend on a speaker upgrade for it as well.

TGP never dissapoints.....

Found out about Harmonic Design Z-90s on TGP. And a member sold me set of used ones for a great price.

Even from this thread, I learned some great info. Glad to hear everyone's stories.

Does anybody know where I can find out more about shielding my guitar? It's meant to reduce noise, right? If it does this, then why doesn't everybody shield their guitar?

I've learned that there is something about the written word that makes opinions seem more like fact. If you realize this, and you realize that the type of response typically changes depending on how the question is asked, then you can be a lot less susceptible to internet hype.
