Yes the boost in the loop would work depending upon the pedal.

Plugged this in last night and WOW, such a great pedal. Having 6 presets is glorious. Thank you Tech21!

Got mine a few minutes ago. My rig was already dialed for a Liverpool, so getting a bunch of cool sounds was a matter of a few minutes. This device is so simple a drummer could work it. Looking forward to spending some quality time tweaking some really great presets, and the small footprint means it's going to integrate easily into my rig.
More to come when I spend some time, but my first impressions are really good, and I'm a picky SOB.
Nice one Tech 21!

Played the new Deluxe this weekend leading worship. Worked like a champ! Dual HB Chain was Telecaster Thinline Deluxe, Boss SD1, M13, Liverpool Deluxe. Was able to dial in a few different tones and store them without any issue. Love the phantom power option too.

If you need different amp sounds on each channel, then yes. It's not a stereo unit. If you are using a single amp sound that is split to stereo for effects, then no... just put your stereo effect(s) after the unit.

I had a Liverpool and loved it. I had to sell it. I couldn't quit changing settings on it. I loved so many sounds in it. I spent too much time fiddling with it and it had to go.

I dreamed of the deluxe for years.

I bought this pedal five minutes ago.

I'll wet myself in a week or so when I see the box.

One question....can it receive phantom power from a Power Engine?

I had a TRI AC as well...lifeless. now the blonde with a few pedals...great rig!

The PE does not have or receive phantom power. What would work best is to send the XLR out of the Liverpool Deluxe to the board to receive phantom power and run the 1/4" out of the Liverpool to the Power Engine. EQ the pedal for the desired sound through the PA and then use the EQ on the Power Engine if further tweaks are needed. The EQ controls on the PE do not affect it's 1/4" or XLR outputs.

Spent some more time with mine now, and just added some new pedals to my rig. This is the first time in 44 years of playing for money I'm actually totally tubeless. Yeah, not one bit of tube gear in the rig. My electric chain is now gtr>Xotic EP Booster>Peterson Strobostomp>Wampler Ego comp>Wampler Pinnacle>Wampler Paisley Drive>Liverpool Deluxe>TC Corona chorus>Diamond Memory Lane Jr.>TC Hall of Fame reverb>QSC K10.
I'm really diggin' the Liverpool. The sounds are all the ones I know and love, just organized for live use. The comp and drive pedals sound killer in front of it, and I've got lots of post-amp sauce to mix in too. At any given moment I can pull the Liverpool Deluxe, Paisley, strobe and delay off onto a smaller jam-slutting board and run everything battery.
Not missing my tubes, and coming from me that's really saying something!

Ordered mine this morning! Only a few left, then it's over. Prior to ordering, I spent much more time with my Liverpool dialing in all manner of usable tones from sparkling clean to rip yer face off searing lead. This is gonna be good

Tech21 will only release a limited number of the Deluxe? But why? The product seems a good idea, it should sell well...

I fear Tech21's good fortune and sustainability would end by meeting our desires for a few do-it-all products.
Replacing the TRI-AC with separate 'Character' models was brilliant. The TRI-AC could have been made as good as the 'Characters', but sales would have remained flat at best. They hit the sweet spot by offering something the majority of players can get their head around, i.e. a specific legendary amp in a little box.
More and more I'm grasping how well they're approach is doing in the modeling game. Never a need to make a bigger, better 'Blonde', even when Barta is 90 y.o.! Noyce
