Bob Welch RIP

An apparent suicide in his Nashville home. I always enjoyed his playing.

This one shakes me up quite a bit. His French Kiss LP especially was a VERY important record during my adolescence. RIP

Another great but tortured soul from the mighty Fleetwood Mac-I always figured he might end this way-sad news. RIP Bob.

So sad & tragic...I didn't know about Bob being snubbed as a member of Fleetwood Mac when they were inducted into the RRHOF. On a positive note, there's his body of work & this beautiful example...

I remember seeing him in concert in the Baltimore-Washington area many, many years ago opening for Jefferson Starship. My lady friend at the time had no idea who he was, but we both agreed that without a doubt Bob just blew the Starship clear out of the galaxy, no contest. RIP Bob, knowing that you weren't the only one there recognizing that you were the real headliner during that tour! Thanks for the great music.
