Same brand guitar and amp - what would you choose?

If you had to play the same brand of guitar and amp, what brand and models would you play? It's actually a bit surprising to me how few companies are highly regarded for both guitars and amps.

Fender seems to clearly be the most successful at this. However, their amps don't work for everyone, especially heavier styles (at least they aren't a popular choice among the hard rock and metal crowd). I think I would be a Carvin guy, since I own a legacy head, and am planning on picking up an st300 guitar. That was sort of the inspiration for all of this. What are some other good choices?

Suhr Classic S/T models into a Suhr SL68.

Have the amp. Both guitars are on order (T is a double bound Antique, S is a regular Classic).

I have a couple Music Man guitars, I wouldn't mind picking up one of their old tube amps.

Not listed, and I might be cheating. Godin technically owns a small lineup of really nice acoustic amps, and they've got some truly phenomenal guitars (multi-voice, anyone?).
