Which is the right Deox it?

For cleaning amp pots?

The regular Ds5?

Any better options? Places to get it? Got a sick jubilee mid range pot.

Thanks
Mike

Yeah, whichever stuff has lube in it. Home Depot or Lowes have similar stuff. Radio Shack too. Sometimes it's called Tuner Cleaner. Any electronic cleaner with a lubricant will do.

Deoxit 5 is a contact cleaner with a lubricant in it. Deoxit Fader Lube F5 is specifically made for carbon track pots etc. is it better for pots than the D5? I don't know but the D5 works. I just don't know if the F5 works better, never tried it.

On the front of the Deixit D5 spray can it reads Rejuvenate, Lubricate & Protect it with Deoxit 5 More than a Contact Cleaner Chemically Improves Electronic Connections.
If you get it on your fingers which I've have, it leaves a slippery film that does not evaporate.

The can contains Deoxit D100L, their discription for D100L which is packaged in several different size dispensers
Reads the following;

Deoxit is a fast-acting deoxidizing solution that cleans, preserves, lubricates and improves conductivity on all metal connectors and contacts. Use as a general treatment for connectors, contacts and other metal surfaces, and on non-critical metal surfaces with severe oxidation and corrosion. If the metal surface is discolored, it is severe. DeoxIT ® dissolves the contamination and protects the surface. For reference, DeoxIT ® has approximately 20% cleaning action.

LESS FILLING!!! TASTES GREAT!!!LESS FILLING!!! TASTES GREAT!!!

Its a pretty stupid thing to argue about. Ive used it on pots plenty of times that are still rotating smoothly and working fine long after servicing.
