Amp experts, I need your help in pricing an amp.
A friend of mine was given an all original 1957 Fender Harvard amp. He's offering it up to me for sale, and it is in MINT condition. He's asking $2,500...which I think is quite high for the amp.
What is it worth roughly?

Just Google it.

It being in mint condition definitely gives him an edge on the market. 2500.00 still might be a little steep, but it's a rare enough amp that 2 grand would definitely be reasonable. At least in my eyes.

I don't think 2500 is absurd for an all-original, mint 1957 Harvard. How many of those are there in the universe? Not too many. There is the question of objective value and subjective worth, though, of course...

I'm not an expert but...
Vintage Guitar price guide for 2011 has it at 1900-2300. My experience with this guide is that it is most always 20-25% high, and since 2008 has not accounted much for the economic downturn. I have no idea how they calculate their numbers or get their data. Frankly, it's a champ with a 10" speaker.
