Kemper Noodles

My first attempt at recording the Kemper. I know absolutely nothing about recording, except how to hit the Record button, so it took me a long time to get this far.

Anyway, just some random ideas with no real goal in mind other than trying to hear what these Profiles sound like during playback.

Using a Thorn G/T with 3 Tom Anderson PQ-90s as follows:
  • First chord and solo riffs are a 3Monkeys Orangutan Profile modded with some Clarity and a Stereo Widener effect.
  • Second section is Mitch Malloy's Dr. Z MAZ 38. Starts with Bridge pickup and Vol fully open, then Vol rolled back and a switch to the Middle/Bridge split sound.
  • Third part is a stock Kemper Vox AC30 clean tone modded a bit. Messing around with the Neck and Neck/Middle splits.
  • Last is the Acoustic Dream "Profile" I started Neck/Middle to Middle to Middle/Bridge - I think the split sounds are better and more Piezo like.

Sounds pretty good to me. What program did you use to record?

Thanks KJR. I'm using Cubase LE 5 that came with the Zoom R8. I've at least figured out how to use the R8 as the controller for Cubase now.
