Guitar is the best!
Hello there string swingers!
I have visited TGP now & then and always have gotten some good info on equipment, et. al. Took the plunge here as this is one of the better forums around that I've seen. I got my first guitar (after over a year of pleading....my mother lied - she wanted me to continue classical piano - and said that my father wasn't too keen on me playing guitar............. and she & I still don't completely get along...) in December 1965. The strings on that $12 Kay were over 1/2 inch above the fret board in the first position. I thought it was magic!... And I still do! Overall, while I am profoundly moved by "nature", & love all the usual good things in life, music & the guitar are probably my favorite parts of this three dimensional reality (on this third stone from the sun!) that we all participate in. Keep rockin' ev'ryone!
