You just moved back a few spots on the KOT list, friend!

Just kidding..

When I read about people repeatedly returning pedals because they just don't like 'em and then bitching because there's issues with the return, I feel like they're setting themselves up for a conflict. If one dealer alone got a dozen of these folks every week pulling that crap, I could see how things could get out of hand with refunding & shipping returns.

As a dealer, I would issue a disclaimer saying, "Returns will only be handled for items damaged upon receipt. If you don't like 'em, go flip 'em!" Then, my little shipping dept would fill out a QC sheet, checking off all the testing & other examinations done to ensure that the item was functioning properly before shipping. This sheet would be copied and sent to customer, and for our records and kept for 6 months. That should eliminate some bullshit. If I had to deal with all these returns from customers who didn't like their items for silly arbitrary reasons ("didnt work with my setup", "it didn't sound like the youtube demo'), I would personally drive to their homes & deliver that item back to 'em and tell them to shove it up their asses. I would be more than happy to deal promptly with 'legit' returns (malfunctioning items) or items lost in transit. However, if someone tried to return a Timmy because it didn't sound good with their Fender, they can go buy a Marshall, go learn how to tweak their gear, trade with someone.

The dealer better make all that abundantly clear to their customers at the time of puchase (without threatening to drive to their homes, of course). These type of threads would be alot less confusing for everyone if dealers would draw the line and thus make indulgent customers curb their appetites.

Sorry about that, I am usually the one getting hit by a conspiracy theory (POT/KOT annoyance thread marketing guru's post), not instigating them!

I was just trying to point out that Teddy could get this thread shut down like the other dealers do, as it says in the forum rules (no deals gone bad...) if he wanted to.

Does Teddy feel he has nothing to hide and allows this thread to continue? Earlier in this thread, he did give us various phone numbers & e-mails to reach him at, if we had an issue with him.

Lightbulb Music Toyz

I sort of like the site and he carries a good variety of stuff. I have bought stuff from there without problem, returned stuff too. Nice Folk.

I couldn't agree more, bandofthieves! I feel like I'm on Teddy's side just because he came here, rose to the occasion and called everyone out. Yet, everyone here with Internet Balls is too afraid to confront him in person, choosing to continue bashing him here on the forum. Teddy came to RUMBLE!!

Maybe, but he says no one ever calls or emails. I could find at least a dozen threads where people have not been able to get him on the phone or by email.

Why would Teddy post all his numbers, then go through the hassle of screening incoming calls all day? I'm thinking of calling him just for the hell of it.

What's sad about the interwebz is you often have no way of checking if someone is an A-hole based on forum postings. I bet if we could actually meet the individuals in question, hear what was said, it would all make sense...

Recently bought a high end cable and it arrived Quickly.

Often those that go on forums to scream foul, often do about other retailers....maybe one should start looking in the mirror.

i was surprised when i saw the dude putting up all his contact details like this..... is that like the dude who shags your wife and says she only gave me a polish hehehe.... putting contact details up is only good if the dude that does that responds -

as for the "mystery" thread that disappeared... living overseas i would love to know who it is so i don't get burned cos when your on the other side of the plannet and the vibe turns sour your usually out of pocket. knowing who the dealer is would not necessarily stop me using them.... it would maybe just tune in my antenna - awareness is 7/10ths of the law i say lol

I’ve purchased at least 2 dozen pedals from Teddy over the last 10 years with zero problems. Most of my orders have arrived wihin 1-2 days. I did have a problem with a pedal board I purchased, which was the manufacturer’s fault. Teddy sent me a new one via next-day FedEx and he picked up the return shipment cost. I’ll continue buying from him given the good purchasing experiences I’ve had.

Rowz, this was asked earlier in the thread, but I don't see an answer. When exactly did you place your order?
