McInuturff&Eventide modfactor-synth sound/Holdsworth-style

Short clip of a very cool synth-like sound from the Eventide-modfactor that works well for Holdsworth-style lines in combination with overdrive. The guitar is a Mcinturff taurus.

Holy Santa clause crap. Amazing.

And the tone and phrasing are really holdsworth-like, but the lines are 100% your own. You're not borrowing from holdsworth. Amazing lines, bro! Just amazing. Reminds me of the first night I heard you back in 98.

Thanks so much for the kind-words, I really appreciate it!
Back then I tried to play like him a bit, but I had no idea really what he was doing and his stuff was too fast to transcribe. Maybe I am just trying to play like him, but the stuff ends up being more like my own because I can't do it?
Thanks again, love your stuff.

Thank you!
There are indeed some really cool sounds in that board, I know you have some of the same pedals. Looking forward to explore the board a bit more now that I am back in the U.S.
By the way I tried to tweak that synth setting on the modfactor a bit in order to get a more personalized sound, but I couldn't get anything to sound nearly as good as that preset. With some overdrive or boost in sounds perfect.
