Someone Stole My Guitar Please Help Me!
I know this ad has been on Kijiji many times but, my guitar is still gone
there is no clues or anything to where it is so I am relying on other people and Jesus to help me in my time of need. So If you could please post this on Facebook, other forums and many other places. The man who stole my guitar was a white male around his late 30's or early 40's with black greyish hair that is thinning. He is about 5'10 tall, medium or skinny build and has a very energetic attitude and acts really friendly and loud. He appeared to be skipping in the surveillance footage as I was told so he may act a little weird. He goes by the name Kyle Letraille but probably uses different names. My guitar was stolen in April of 2012. On day 1 he came to check out the guitar and he did he arrived late in the evening at my house so I could barely see the car he was in let alone see the plates. All I could see was that there was someone else in the car driving him and he was the passenger so there was more than 1 person involved in this. The car appeared to be a 4 door sedan and it was a dark colour my best guess would be beige. He came to the front door and I let him in to come check out the guitar. He saw the guitar and held it and said " I can offer you $7,300 dollars for it." I said ok since it was only $200 dollars less than what I was asking ($7,300). I said "how will you be paying for it?" he said" I leaning towards a certified cheque because I have been robbed before." I believed him and felt sorry for him and said okay. So he left and said he would meet me at the TD bank in Kanata on Hazeldean road. Day 2. I parked outside the farm boy about 20 metres from the TD Bank and I saw him go into the bank for quite a while about 10 minutes but later on I found out he was only grabbing a envelope but he was talking to the tellers at the bank. So he probably knows someone that works there. So he came out towards my van and handed me the cheque and I opened my van's trunk and showed him the guitar again and handed it to him. And he left the parking lot area. So I made my way over to the bank and attempted cashing the "certified" cheque and they said it was fraudulent and right at that moment it felt like I got punched in the stomach by a Heavyweight boxer. So I ran out of the bank trying to look for him so I called the Police and told the Policeman everything so we talked to the 1 of the banks managers. I now have a investigator helping me out but an investigator is an investigator not a miracle worker. So that is why I keep posting this ad because I keep hoping someone somewhere will recognize my guitar or the man who stole it. I am a Christian I believe Jesus is Lord and the Son of God and I pray to Jesus everyday for my guitars return and for somebody to find my guitar or the man who stole it. Many people have insulted me and called me many names because of my guitar being stolen because I accepted a certified cheque. It hurts my feelings but I know I deserve it. I was trying to sell the guitar to help my family be stable financially but I ended up being robbed of my guitar. THIS IS NOT AN INSURANCE SCAM OR FRAUD I JUST WANT MY GUITAR BACK! The guitar that was stolen was a Gibson Custom Shop Aged Randy Rhoads Les Paul Custom. It had the serial number Rhoads #056 there were only 2 that came to Canada one went to some guy in Toronto and this one went to me. The guitar is heavily aged as you can see and the wood is showing at the back and on the neck. There are cracks and dings all over the guitar. Thank you for taking the time to read this ad if you have any tips or something about my guitars whereabouts or the man who stole it please reply to this ad. I am located in Ottawa, Canada I USUALLY POST AN AD WITH PICTURES ON THE OTTAWA KIJIJI IF YOU WANT TO SEE HOW MY GUITAR LOOKED LIKE Thanks and Jesus Bless! |

$7300 is alot of money. Definitely a felony. If he gets caught, he'll be doing some hard time.

Yes, the bank has 10 minutes worth of footage. But he is an unknown the police don't know who he is.

Have they questioned the teller that he supposedly went in and talked to?

No, I don't think they did but I will ask about it. They probably don't want to do it though.

Contact the local news and see if they will run the footage. It might make for a good story being an expensive and rare guitar.

The Lord works in mysterious ways. I know it will all work out. Be strong and He will see it through.
