I am now the proud owner of my first Taylor

Picked up a used 2010 814ce this past weekend. This thing is in mint condition and was hardly played by the guy who sold it to me. There is not a single ding, scratch or nick on the guitar. He had the original receipt and pretty much kept it in his closet humidified. It plays like butter and sounds amazing. I paid $1900 on guitar that is in brand new condition. I can't believe I actually own one of these beautiful guitars. This guitar has renewed my love for playing acoustic guitar.

I've been practicing intently on my SCGC for my upcoming tour. There's nothing better than good acoustic to make you a better player. All the money and struggles people spend and have trying to get good electric tone at "home" volumes, that should just get a good acoustic. Key word being "good". I actually only have one acoustic, one electric, and one amp. I actually use my SCGC OMc with a good pickup and DI as my backup guitar and amp on stage. That's why I like to mostly practice on the acoustic, it makes me WAY better (read stronger) on my electric, and just gives me a ton of peace of mind.

Congrats!!!

I too just picked up an 814CE LTD couple weeks ago and love it. It's my favorite acoustic to date and I had my share of high end.

The only thing better than a high-end Taylor is one you saved a whole whack of dough on.
Congrats!

My first good acoustic was a limited run 414mace.
I think taylor has the coolest inlays.
