Some really cool stuff Openmind. When you say "no jumps in [your] playing," do you mean no progress?
Could you share some exercises (or practice ideas) that you've been working on that have allowed you to progress? I'm just starting to explore some of the techniques that I saw you employ (string skipping, tapped runs, "outside" notes).

Cool backing track by the way. Is there a good place to get something like that?
Thanks,
J

Nice - keep bangin'. Really nicely placed shred passages interspersed with some cool melodies.

Now try this:

Don't start a phrase on the downbeat of one OR end a phrase on downbeat 1.

Not sure which fusion genre ya wanna get into, but if it's jazz/fusion, def start LISTENING to alot of Charlie Parker !

Thx man, no, with no jumps in my playing, I mean I donīt wanna play changes and jump from one part of the fretboard to another, sorry for my english maybe thereīs a better way to say that ... about exercesis, just playing man, all the time, at first, playing the scales over the chords, just the scales ... then... try some melodies...thatīs it for me, and about the backin track, I did it myself ... if u want it. send me a private, I l send it to you.... itīs not super good quality or sound, but for practice, yes, it works

Look around the web for compilations of the audios for the Omnibook transcriptions (not the transcriptions, but the audios)

sweet video. for some of the best fusion jazz you'll find, listen to return to forever and weather report. no guitars in weather report but that doesn't mean you can't learn from it/be inspired. rtf albums: romantic warrior. wp albums: black market. heavy weather. enjoy.
