i think this exactly, he is bitter about his last venture/idea and not reaping the benefits. he wants to build this "empire" as a second chance on what he lost in the buyout at Grey Matter. he is going to ride this until the wheels fall off, there will be no buying out and enough will never be enough for Walt.

"Who the hell are ya?"

"You all know exactly who I am."

"You're Heisenberg!"

"You're damn right!"

COOL AS THE OTHER SIDE OF THE PILLOW! I can't wait to see the rest of that scene.

Todd kept that tarantula. That jar would have the kid's fingerprints on it. If the kid was ever printed for school etc., this could be Todd's undoing.

That is definitely what it is, it will be interesting to see how Grey Matter will play back into the series. Maybe he plans to do some work on their office space with that big M60 he acquired.

Ok, ok. Maybe I'm just searching for a better word that may not even exist

That could be the undoing of a whole lot more than Todd if he got caught. Too many possibilities!!

That's ok cuz Walt's prints are all over the illegal tracking devices in the DEA office. Fingerprints, Schmingerprints

If a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to see it....

Walt has lost his family, and now clearly money means nothing to him. I have a feeling he's not building his empire just so he can die quietly in a hospital somewhere with the personal satisfaction of knowing he was a really good drug dealer.

Nope. Walt is already dead, so this is one last attempt for the recognition he thinks he deserved. He knows he's the greatest meth chemist, and possibly drug king pin(or at least he thinks) ever to live and wants the world to know too. He wants to rub it in Elliot, his chemist peers, Sklyer and everyone elses face, and get the respect and admiration a genius of his caliber deserves.

This is far beyond ego.

I think Walt is now on a suicide mission to obtain infamy. He not only wants to get caught, but he needs to, and in a spectacular fashion that'll get the entire worlds attention.

Where was Walt JR. this episode? I still think he is going to get in a car accident. Either hurt or killed and cops are going to find the blue meth in his car... Maybe he starts experimenting and using out of anger/rebellion/teenage angst against his current home life/parents. Imagine what that would do to Walt and Skyler! It would create a domino effect and tie together all the different sub plots. Skyler would tell Hank out of guilt. Walt's empire will fall and he and skylar would split up. Both would run. Skylar would take off with the baby to protect them from the DEA and Walt.

The search for the missing boy is gonna lead the DEA to the Railroad trestle with the buried Methlemene dump. Foot prints, tire tracks, DNA; it's all there.
