Breaking Bad: New Thread
Rogue: "I wouldn't be surprised if we have Todd's family, the Phoenix dealers, Madrigal, and Hank all looking to take down Walt in the final 8."
Which fits right into my idea of Walt getting the gun and heading back to take car of business. He's driving down the road with his gun beside him in the passenger seat and wearing his Heisenberg hat with a look of "I'm gonna get them all" on his face and series ends.

Maybe in the next season they'll show it but I figured Madrigal was going to play a bigger role this past season with sinister people inside the company making Gus look like a good guy.

Yea, between that scene and the Scarface one I think Walt may go out with a bang. Its hard to say though, these foreshadowing scenes are rarely what you actually expect.

Last show Walt was on a medical bed getting scanned. Then he was in the restroom. He looked at the punched in towel dispenser and had a grim look on his face. I think the cancer is back.

Im not so sure. I will have to watch it again, but I saw it as him kind of laughing at his "old self" who hit the dispenser. In the foreshadowing clip we see he has a full head of hair too. Hard to say though. Him having Cancer again would make sense.

I just saw it as him reflecting on how far he has come in such a short time. How he was once a guy who had one months to live and started cooking meth to leave money to his family and now he has survived against the odds, built an empire and turned into a cold blooding murdering meth kingpin. I viewed it as just a moment of recollection.

Oh man didn't know you guys were talking about me
![]() Seriously one of the best shows on television. I'm looking forward to the hank vs. walter showdown - will it come down to a kill? What about Jesse's character arc? We same him start from a retarded dude to one who knows his way around the block. Will he somehow find out about Walt killing Mike and then take down Walt? What about the ricin? Who's Walt going to poison? Hate to see Hank go down because of ricin. That's too easy. |

And yeah, the Ricin has to play some sort of role. For all the time's we've heard or seen it enacted into Walt and Jesse's plans, we've never actually seen anybody get poisoned with it and die...yet.

I took all that to refer to the prison murders.

I'd have to watch the episode again but I don't think Jesse knows about Mike yet. He wouldn't have acted that calm if he knew Walt had killed him. Mike was turning into a father figure for Jesse just like Walt and they'd become pretty close by the end there. The gun was just because Jesse knew Walt was tying up loose ends and didn't want to become one of them. That whole conversation is really interesting in the larger arc of the show too. I think it's the first time Walt really starts to understand why and how he got caught up in everything.

I don't think the cancer is back, honestly that is a little too cheap for this show. I think he realized between his Dr visit and his meeting with skyler at the storage facility that he really had lost tough with why he was cooking in the first place. Of course that's all gone to shit now. I'm hoping they don't leave a lot of loose ends but with only eight episodes left they have a lot to cover nd they are still introducing new characters.
