EJ Strat frets

This may be too soon to ask this, but have any of you EJ Strat players replaced the stock frets? While they are certainly wider than vintage frets, they are polished really low. I really like mine, but have been wondering how a set of taller frets might change the playability. It's a bit tough for me to get up under the high strings and dig in, but the guitar is certainly playable as is.
