Does anyone know of a good guitar tech in SoCal?
Hi. I was just wondering if anyone might be so kind as to suggest a name of a good guitar tech in the Southern California area who does good fret work. A couple of my fret bars have developed some dents, and I don't want to try to fix them myself. Thanks very much in advance!

I would first recommend Renson's guitar in Studio City. Another good choice is Erics Guitar in Van Nuys.
Mind you, this is the SF Valley area. Not sure about down in the L.A./Hollywood area. Keeth Lawrence |

Any particular area? For the LA area, I can't recommend enough Rodney from Frettek. http://www.frettek.com/
He's done 4 of mine and the results have been fantastic. He's got a tiny shop on westwood Blvd and it's not uncommon to see a big player or two in there on a Sunday getting their issues worked on. Good luck, Rick |

Erik at Lush Guitars is killer. He does incedible work. His repairs and set-ups are amazing. Builds some pretty nice stuff as well.
I know he is extremely busy and usually has a huge back log of work. Also, not even sure if he works for the public. You might contact him through his site. www.lushguitars.com |

Thanks a lot guys! I really appreciate it. I'm actually in the Temecula area (about 2 hours give or take south of LA). But anywhere within about 100-150 mile radius is totally fine! Thanks again!

if you get down to the San Diego area, I can recommend Fred @ The Repair Zone. 858-565-7984.
