My son made it through the first day of surgery, but today has been a test. Read below.

Silas has been labeled "the best tet" that they've seen in years at Ruby Memorial which has the ONLY accredited Pediatric Cardiac Surgeon in the state!! He went through surgery yesterday morning with no issues. His pulmonary valve looked great so they saved it and didn't even have to cut open and patch his artery. They just dilated it and patched the hole between ventricles(which was the size of a quarter). He has hundreds of stitches in his heart. He was on the ventilator for only an hour after surgery. He is off all meds except a little Lasix which will cause him to pee off the fluid that has collected around his left lung. He received a blood transfusion this morning because his red cell count was a little low, which is expected. He is being vocal and trying to get up onto his belly but unfortunately he's strapped down, and that makes him mad, so he got a little Nubain to calm him down. His is still very stoned, swelled and sleepy, but he took breastmilk from a bottle this morning. They said that the goal today is to get al ot of his lines out that are still giving him fluids. He should be able to nurse normally by tomorrow!!
Good to hear man!!!!
Out prayers are with you...

Shawn

PedalworX Silas OD & Boost Pedal #1 - Shane auction up!

OK, the PedalworX one of a kind is on Ebay now.

I named it the Silas in honor of the little trooper.

I am relieved to hear he is doing well and just have to say that I think you all are the best bunch of guys and an honor to be around!
You all ROCK!

The pedal I put up is a Tejas (4 knobbed 808)which runs at 9 volts and a JFET booster (ala Fat Boost/Mu circuit/Jack Orman) which runs at 18 volts internally.

I added a toggle to change which effect comes first and they can be cascaded into one another. Which comes first is interesting tonally on the output tone as well.

Here is the link:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=320104484379

and here is a pic of it

All the best,

George

That is like stuffing a Tejas and CC into one pedal ... that could blow up a lot of amps I think

So we have another $280.00 to add to the pot, I guess just send it to Shane's PayPay address???

Ok, make that $270.00, PayPal sucked up $12.00 of it!! It's been sent to Shane.

Thanks again Stingray!!!

I was thinking that perhaps payment should be made directly to Shane in order to keep it to a single Paypal fee. I will try doing that with my auction.

Shane's Paypal address is s_pasqualla@hotmail.com

Nice work everybody!

Regards,
George
