Robben Ford recomendation

Can someone recomend a Robben Ford CD that is more Fusion oriented not blues? I love his blues stuff but I'd like to hear some fusion.

Not an RF album but "A Song I Thought I Heard Buddy Sing" by Jerry Grannelli. Robben with Garrett and Frisell. Check out "Billy's Bounce".

I think that album was reissued as "Blues Connotation" under Robben's name?

Also, there is 20 CD box set "The Complete Miles Davis At Montreux", that has 2 CDs of Robben on it (1986) -- he was on fire then for sure!!

"Mirage a Trois" Yellow Jackets
"Tom Cat" Tom Scott and The L.A. Express
"Miles of Aisles" Joni Mitchell with The L.A. Express
"Pop Pop" Rickie Lee Jones

Some of my favorite RF playing ever, can be found on this Larry Steen album:

Guitar Nine Records - Larry Steen "View From Afar"

Pop pop is hardly fusion, right? Robben on classical guitar throughout the album.

For modern fusion I would say the Jing Chi albums.

Get the first "Yellowjackets" album. Russell Ferrante and his cohorts wrote some amazing stuff on that one. Consistent playing and Robben took some amazing solos through those tunes.
