Two Questions for Les Paul/Setneck Players from a Strat Guy...
Recently bought a Grosh Set neck and am wondering how you use the 2 volumes and two tones on the guitar to useful effect. There seems to be a lotta options. I'm interested in rhythm tones in particular but am also wondering about lead tones, shifting from one volume level to another, etc.
Also, what type of strings do you use? I have been a Snake Oil string user for my strats but am wondering if they might sound a little too dark on a Les Paul style guitar. The D'addario's on there sound great but I love the long lasting nature of the Snake Oil strings. Suggestions? Thanks. |
