Torn speaker cone repair?

I have a little old 10" alnico collecting dust on my bench, origins unknown.

Probably Vox, but I guess maybe 15 watts.

Anyway, It's got a little tear in the cone right in the middle, about the size and shape of a fingernail clipping.
(I'll try and post a pic later)

Nothing's ripped out, just a little tear.

Sounds ok, just the faintest buzz at certain frequencies, regardless of volume.

Fixable?
Not interested in reconing it, but thinking maybe someone knows DIY tip or two?
I've heard nail polish, rubber cement, even a tiny piece of duct tape!

What say you?
