A bass played on a peavey windsor head

I own a Peavey Windsor Head, put on a Windsor Cab. I read once the Fender Twin Reverb manual that people play bass guitar on it, but 1 of friends toll me that I must never play a bass on guitar amp.

Q#1: Do something bad will happen if I play a bass on a windsor or another guitar amp?

Q#2: If something bad will happen, what and Why it happens?

Q#3: Even if I play a bass on a FTR, will something bad will happen?

I'm really confused, and I don't want to buy a bass amp.
