Cool new old guy from so-cal
a few months ago i pulled my les paul out from under the bed, strung her up and played it for the first time in probably 25 years. the bug hit again i've been at it ever since. i played out for about 10 years starting in the mid sixties, when i gave it up and concentrated on my education. its great to be playing again and i've found these forums to be very helpful.
most of my current gear is what i could'nt bear to part with when i quit playing- a 1952 les paul, 1952 p-bass, 1966 blackface bassman head, and an early 70's EKO ranger VI accoustic. i also have a peavey vypyr 15 amp, a blackstar 1x10 cab, and a new MIM tele. i'm hoping to put the vintage stuff back in order and i'm sure i'll be needing lots of advice from TGP!
