Valvetech Hayseed or Trinity TC15?
Hello All, I know some of this has been covered before so please bear with me.
A few months ago I traded for a VOX AC15 HW amp. As I play it more and more with single coils I am really likeing the sound. I replaced the valves with NOS including Mullard EZ81 and Ef86. The amp sounds pretty good now. I keep reading that the VOX AC15HW sounds much better with Mercury Trannies. If this is the case That is a pretty expensive mod. Which leads me to my question above! BTW, I want a head unit and would like both the EF86 and 12AX7 TB Circuit. I don't want to spend $1800+ for a new amp. It seems that both the Valvetech Hayseed 15 with EF86 and the Trinity TC15 Kit would fall into my price range. Valvetech doesn't really have much in sound samples to judge the amp by. I know that many forum members have this amp and love it. Do any of you have any clips? Likewise any Trinity TC15 Owners. I have been on Trinity's site and forums. Thanks for your help Dave |

Well I have used a Hayseed 30 for a couple of years and if it is Voxish you want.. it is Voxish you get.... really, really good amps.. and the price is very right.
