If "According to You" is an example of the drivel we're going to be hearing from her, I'll opt out now...

Wow, she sold out big time. Her lead work with MJ and Underwood are incredible.

I guess when they back the Brink's truck up to your house you open the door.

I concur, and I'll add that Avril Lavigne does this sort of thing far better.

I've been a fan since I saw her ripping at the Grammy's with Carrie Underwood.
She's a great guitarist, how many women have come along that have tone and can play? Plus, she's real easy on the eyes....she's got my vote.

"According To You"...well, it is the music "business" and labels do want to sell product. It is what it is. If that brings her a bigger market than going the Shrapnel label route, more power to her.
I still watch that Grammy performance on my DVR. She brought it.

I dig her playing
She's very easy on the eyes

First saw her on Crossroads, great tone, great playin
Think she's been hangin with Carlos, which is a good thing
I'm sure Carlos is happy about it :-)

I wish her the best

Like most pieces of bubble gum, "According to You" will probably lose its flavor rather quickly. However, if this means that young girls can have a role model who can not only be beautiful but can sing and shred to look up to...then I'm all for it. Us fellas get spoiled with constant inspiring players, let the ladies show what they got. Will I be buying her CD? No...but if my nieces wanted it, I would be quite happy to get it for em. As for the Avril comments, come on ya'll, Avril ain't pulling off no arpeggio sweeps like that.

I thought "According To You" was a pretty good pop song. Some clever lyrics, a good hook, some very competent guitar playing and, given the treatment she gets around here, the sentiment could have been aimed right at this forum.

Very accomplished guitar player, as for the tune, I also think Avril Lavigne has already been there, and with a result that sounded better to these ears.
