Who here uses "Nut Sauce", should I be using it?

For the GHS Rene Martinez string lubricant, there are no worries about becoming gummy, getting buildup, or staining anything on the guitar. Perfect mix that's easy to use with a tooth pick. If there is excess, just wipe with a napkin up towards the tuners.

I have used it for the last 2-3 "restrings" of my guitars and it solved the "clink clink" problem when tuning up.

I'm tellin' ya - 3 in 1 oil. I've had the same can all my playing life. I apply a tiny amount with a needle applicator. My strat trems are used vigorously and I stay in tune. Reapply each time you string, no mess. The alternative is you could make the marketers happy and buy their 'special sauce' I've tried that stuff and it works great too (and I'm guessing is about 50 X more $$).

i got a combo of wax and graphite from my luthier, a little stick of this will last a lifetime and gets rid of the tuning pings (nut work all done, the rest is just the nature of gibson's stupid angled stringed headstock design).

Sounds like a great combo. I used to mix the oil with graphite.

I doubt I would buy it if I had but 3 guitars.

If you see a lot of guitars, the convenience, the time saved is worth the cost.

You can't see the marks on the side of the applicator, because of the label. I'm already just to the "B" in Bends but I don't know where it was to start. If I use up the contents, I will mix up my own contents and reload the sucker.

+++1 for GHS Graph It. My Les Pauls always had problems with strings binding in the nut. This stuff completely solved it.

I have one Les Paul where the G and B strings would go way out of tune if I bent up a step or more. This Nut Sauce has remedied that problem.

Damn could stuff!

Nothing much too it, really. I use a very small container with a screw-on lid, put a small amount of vaseline into it, then add graphite powder and mix it into a paste. I apply it on the nut with a toothpick. A little goes a long way, so there's no need to make a huge batch.
